Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Forestaller (“Forestaller”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this application. Forestaller is operated from Mauritius. By using the application, you consent to the processing and storage of your information in jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.

This application is intended for personal health tracking purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Forestaller is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

User Responsibilities

As a user of Forestaller, you agree to:

Maintain the security of your account credentials

Not interfere with or disrupt the application or servers

Account Registration and Security

To use Forestaller, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account password
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any security breach
Session Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account sessions. Sessions automatically expire after a period of inactivity or a maximum duration to help protect your health information. You may extend sessions using the "Remember Me" option, but this reduces security for convenience. Session metadata stored on your device is cleared when you log out.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

Subscription Plans and Billing

Certain features of Forestaller are available through paid subscription plans (for example, Plus, Care, and Intelligence).

You agree to recurring billing where applicable
You authorize us or our payment provider to charge your selected payment method
Fees are non-refundable unless required by law
We may change pricing with reasonable notice
For team or organizational plans, the account administrator is responsible for managing users and payments

Data Ownership and Usage

You retain all rights to the health data and information you input into Forestaller. By using the application, you grant us a limited license to:

Store your data on our secure servers
Process your data to provide application features
Create backups of your data for recovery purposes
Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics (with no personally identifiable information)

You may export or delete your data at any time through the application settings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forestaller and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

Personal injury or property damage
Any decisions made based on information in the application

Our total liability for any claims related to the application shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the application in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Forestaller and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim or demand arising out of (a) your use or misuse of the application, (b) your violation of these Terms of Use, or (c) your reliance on content, analytics, or insights generated by the application.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Forestaller at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Intellectual Property

The application, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Forestaller and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our application or included software.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by:

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the application will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
